I work with families throughout Largo and the communities around it — Belleair, Ridgecrest, and the Walsingham area among them. Testing is in person in Pinellas County and is completed by a Nationally Certified School Psychologist with 15+ years of experience.

Largo's central location keeps the logistics simple. All testing happens in person in Pinellas County, and families travel in from across Tampa Bay for it — starting from the middle of the county, Largo families are already close. I test children from age 5 through high school, whether your child attends a Pinellas County public school, a fundamental or magnet program, or one of the area's private schools.

Will Pinellas County Schools accept the report?

Yes. Most Largo children are zoned to Pinellas County Schools, and every report I write is built to meet Florida district requirements. Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Manatee County schools all accept my evaluations.

One honest note: for gifted and other eligibility decisions, the district's staffing committee makes the final call. Gifted testing for Largo students

Florida's gifted rule (6A-6.03019, F.A.C.) generally looks for a full-scale IQ around 130 on an individually administered test, plus a majority of gifted characteristics on a standardized checklist and demonstrated need. I use the WISC-V or RIAS-2 depending on your child's age.

How long does testing take?

Appointments are typically available within 1 to 2 weeks, and the full process — from the free consultation through your feedback session — takes about 2 to 3 weeks. A district evaluation, by comparison, can take up to 90 school days.
