Evaluations for Seminole families

I work with families throughout Seminole and mid-Pinellas — from the neighborhoods around Lake Seminole and Seminole City Center out to the beach towns along Gulf Boulevard. Testing is one-on-one and in person, completed by a Nationally Certified School Psychologist with more than 15 years of experience.

Whether your child attends a Pinellas County public school, a fundamental or magnet program, or a private school nearby, an independent evaluation gives you a clear, comprehensive picture of how your child learns — and a report that belongs to you, to share with the school when you're ready. Gifted testing and Pinellas County Schools

Florida's gifted rule generally looks for a full-scale IQ around 130 on an individually administered test, plus a majority of gifted characteristics on a standardized checklist and a demonstrated need for gifted services. My evaluation documents each of those pieces; the district's staffing committee then makes the eligibility decision.

Serving the beach communities

Families in Madeira Beach, Redington Beach, Redington Shores, Indian Shores, and Indian Rocks Beach are just a short drive over the bridge from Seminole, and I see children from all of these communities. There's no need to leave the county — testing stays right here in Pinellas.

Many beach-area families choose private testing because district waitlists can stretch on, while a private evaluation moves at your family's pace.

What does an evaluation cost?

Gifted evaluations are $425 with the RIAS-2 or $450 with the WISC-V. A full psychoeducational evaluation is $1,500, and a 504 evaluation is $1,700. For ADHD, admissions, and executive functioning evaluations, I confirm the fee during your free 15-minute consultation.

I accept cash, check, and Zelle, and I provide a detailed receipt you can submit for HSA or FSA reimbursement. FES-UA scholarship funds may apply — ask during your consultation. See the full pricing page or my note on insurance and testing.

How fast can we get started?

Appointments are typically available within 1 to 2 weeks, and the full process — from consultation through the feedback session — takes about 2 to 3 weeks. A district evaluation, by comparison, can take up to 90 school days.
