Every evaluation is completed by a Nationally Certified School Psychologist with more than 15 years of experience and includes a clear written report and a one-on-one feedback session.

I regularly work with children from Countryside, downtown Clearwater, Clearwater Beach, Belleair Bluffs, and the neighborhoods around Safety Harbor, as well as nearby Largo and Pinellas Park. Whether your child attends a Pinellas County public, magnet, charter, or private school, a private evaluation lets you move on your own timeline instead of waiting on the district's.

What can an evaluation answer?

An evaluation can measure whether your child's IQ falls in the range Florida requires for gifted eligibility, identify a learning disability such as dyslexia, document how ADHD affects your child in the classroom, or support a request for 504 accommodations. You receive specific, practical recommendations — not just scores — that you can take to your child's school, a tutor, or a reading specialist.

I test children from age 5 through high school, using instruments such as the WISC-V, RIAS-2, and Woodcock-Johnson, chosen to fit your child's age and the question you need answered.

A few things I don't do: autism diagnostic evaluations, therapy, or medication. My ADHD evaluations focus on educational impact — medical treatment decisions belong with your pediatrician.

How soon can my child be tested?

I can usually schedule testing within 1 to 2 weeks, and most families finish the full process — from the free consultation through the feedback session — in about 2 to 3 weeks. A district evaluation, by comparison, can take up to 90 school days.

Will Pinellas County Schools accept the report?

Yes. My reports are written to meet Florida district requirements and are accepted by Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Manatee County schools.

For gifted, the district's staffing committee makes the final eligibility decision — a private evaluation documents the IQ score, gifted-characteristics checklist, and demonstrated need the committee reviews, but it does not by itself confer eligibility. What does testing cost?

A gifted evaluation is $425 with the RIAS-2 or $450 with the WISC-V. A full psychoeducational evaluation is $1,500, and a 504 evaluation is $1,700.

For ADHD, admissions, and executive functioning evaluations, I confirm the fee during your free 15-minute consultation. I accept cash, check, and Zelle, and I provide a detailed receipt you can submit for HSA or FSA reimbursement. FES-UA scholarship funds may apply — just ask during the consultation.
